2012 ALBERTA WINTER GAMES

The 2012 Alberta Winter Games are coming to Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Parkland County in February 2012. More than 2,800 athletes, coaches, officials and performers will participate in the Games, competing in 22 sports in and around the Tri municipal region. These Games provide the opportunity for many of Canada's future elite athletes to enjoy  their first taste of competition at a provincial level.

 

 

 

KidSport Parkland

Our local committee working under the umbrella of KidSport Alberta, KidSport Parkland raises funds in our community to assist families to pay for registration fees so that kids may partake in sport programs. ALL children should be give the opportunity to  experience the positive benefits of organized sports! Thanks in part,to your past support, 2010 saw a total of approximately 145 local children and families served!!  We believe in the value of sport in the pursuit of lifelong health and wellness and obviously you do as well.
